KING 5 News recently spoke with Dr. Todd Irwin, one of three dentists who, along with WSDA, have filed a legal complaint against Delta Dental of Washington.

As of January 1, 2019, Apple Health clients who have been under the care of a sleep medicine physician and are not able to use CPAP for treatment of OSA are eligible to have a custom MAD created for the treatment of their OSA.

The ADA and dentists have been advocating for decades to repeal the 1945 McCarran-Ferguson Act antitrust exemption for the health insurance industry. In February, legislation was introduced in both chambers of Congress and is a win for dentistry.

Applications are now open to run for several elected WSDA and ADA positions. Apply by June 30.
