As of Oct. 27, 2022, several emergency proclamations related to health care will be rescinded, and as of Oct. 31, 2022, all remaining COVID-19 emergency proclamations and the state of emergency will come to an end. Some requirements from the Department of Labor & Industries (L&I) and the Department of Health (DOH) will remain in place for health care settings.

The Department of Health is planning to propose changes to initial and renewal licensing fees.

The Dental Quality Assurance Commission (DQAC) will hold its next Dental Educational Outreach Committee meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 12:00 PM.

The Board of Denturists will meet Friday, Oct. 28 at 12:00 PM and will hear an update regarding rule language for the placement of prefabricated abutments, which may include deciding on proposed language from the rules workshops that have been conducted.
